Lowering Aim - Front Headlights

For my '99 Maxi -- I'm a little confused on which headlamp adjuster does what and unfortunately the factory service manual isn't much help. For a given headlight there's two black plastic (10mm) screw adjusters in the bay behind the lights. One closest to the fender and one near the radiator.

- Which one does up/down? (fender or radiator side?)

- Which direction to turn the screw to LOWER the lamps? (clockwise/counterclockwise?)

Thx (PS - I did run a search but nothing specific on which screw does what).

trial and error m'boy.
you've got a 1 in 4 chance of getting in right.
1 screw goes up and down and the other goes left and right. You can see the headlights moving if you pay close attention.

Could someone show me a picture of where these four screws are located? I have a similar issue and am not sure which screws.

If you look closely at the headlight, you'll see that there is a pivot on the top fender side of the housing. That means that the bottom fender-side screw goes up and down, the radiator side screw goes left and right.

It's actually 8mm by the way...

And the one near the fender does up down...one near the radiator does left right.
