Bay cleanup/detailing with pics

I decided to relocate the horn in the engine bay to behind the front grill. Two reasons, to clean up the engine bay, and more noise up front.

Simply put:

-Unplug and unbolt bracket in bay
-Remove Grill
-Route wires through radiator support
-Bolt to existing hole
-Plug in.

I also removed a lot of clips, brakets and guides. Pics are pre-00vi and more cleanup, but you get the idea.

Horn move:

Brackets and stuff: (box still getting bigger)

Finished: (pre-00vi and more cleanup)

Relocating the horn is one of the first steps when installing a Supercharger. Maybe this is a precursor to being SC'd??

i thought maxes came like this stock until i got my current car. my first car i bought from my aunt and she busted up the front end a few times and the mechanic/body shop must have put the horns behind the grille when they repaired it.

maybe my aunt was gonna SC it....

you should get the Hella twin superhorns. Also, there's an extra plug in the front of the grill already. All you had to do was bolt the bracket and connect to the extra plug.

The bracket I used on the front was the one from the bay that held the horn in place.

I need to hide stuff and remove more brackets.
