Brake Caliper bolt/pin question.

Ok so when I was replacing my brakes I was taking the top bolt off for the caliper and the bolt broke inside the pin. Everywhere I checked I can find a new bolt/pin to buy, but I would have to special order the bushings for the pin. When I was trying to take off the smaller bushing off it ripped.I was wondering If I truely need that bushing.I know this is a stupid question..but I want to here someone elses opinion..

Bushing or duct cover? If the rubber cover isnt' replaced and moisture gets back in, the new pin will seize up again. BAD .......

You can't find those? Any brake hardware kit should contain them (just got a kit for my friend's A33B and had them).

It doesn't show them, but they wouldn't sell them without new seals.

As a matter of fact, that's the same exact set (online search shows same part number for both a '96 and an '03) we got for my friend's '02, comes with both outer seals, and the one inner boot.

Just get the Brakeware H5075, and you'll be good.

u need the "bushings" or else your pin will seize, mine have seized a couple of times WITH the bushings, now I take em out every once in a while and put a bit of grease in it to keep it from seizing.
