Q's about cloth to heated leather sway... HELP

I have a 96 maxima with cloth (no auto climate control) and I want to put the heater leather seats with climate control from a 98 or 99 i think... Can I just take out the climate control piece and plug in a new one? how about the seats and heater, is it just plug and play?

I know the auto climate control cannot be simply swapped in, not sure on the specifics though.

yea it'd be cheaper to sell your car and buy one with Climate Control...theres like a million sensors you have to put in certain spots...

I wouldn't go that far...there are 4 sensors needed for an auto climate control. People have done it, it just takes a lot of time and energy. 99% of the maxima's I have come across are prewired for power and heated seats, so if you find some heated leather seats, you would only need to wire up the switches. Good luck!

They come prewired for power but not heat.

Anyhow, I'm determined to make it work. can I just take the sensors off of the other car. Remember, I have 2 entire cars and I want to do a clean swap but I don't know where to start...

I have almost the same deal, I have a 96 Infiniti I30 with auto climate already, dual powered leather seats, can I just add some maxima leather heated seats, and get the heated seat switches, but do I have to splice into the wiring to plug in the heated seat switches?

I really HATE dealing with wiring!!! Anybody have any thoughts on this?
