Does anyone sell a redrilled 4th gen lower to bolt up a USVI upper?

I don't believe anyone on here does, but the best place to check is http://forums.maxima.org/forumdisplay.php?f=43

I might have one in the next few weeks or so, as soon as I get my new A33 LIM.

No you need to drill it yourself or have someone here do it. Stephen Max drills them. It's not a simple as just re-drilling. You need to put in new threads too.

Um, you make it sound more difficult than it actually is....Its a pretty straight-forward process. Measure, and drill and tap....complete.

my bad. Didn't know you were an expert on re-drilling the manifolds. Just saying that if it was so easy for people then they wouldn't be paying someone else to do it all this time.

It's more for convenience than anything.. I'm very capable of drilling and tapping a manifold.. This manifold is going on a VQ30DE swapped Spec V with a custom turbo kit that we just finished building. For time-sake, I was going to just have one shipped to me, so I don't have to take the time to pull the old one and mess with it.

TurboS13, I would totally take you up on that offer...If I had something to control my AFR with the new manifold. I might buy yours from you though. How much?

Also, from what I have gone through, I would recommend going A33 LIM. I have my 2nd A32 tapped on my car, and it is just to easy to strip the new threads. I dont know what it is about it, my first was JBwelded and second was welded, neither held up very well. It could be because I am using the 4th gen gasket which is thicker, thus there would be less bolt-thread contact(and more pressure per thread), but I dont know.

Also, I do have a spare LIM, it is redrilled. It would be perfect if you want to re-tap it, as it already has the holes right where they should be(but as I said before, one is stripped, maybe another).

I could heli-coil the holes, with steel inserts, which should be much stronger.. I'll even swap with you.. A33 LIM for your redrilled A32 LIM. PM me your shipping details and I'll send mine. I can ship it tomorrow..

Having StephenMax do one for you won't be "quick," especially if you don't supply him with one. Not saying he takes long, but if he has to find one, drill it, and ship it to you it could be weeks.
