no more than 2. it needs probably a G to 15 hundred to repair it if you cant do it yourself or get the parts cheap.

Depending on exactly whats wrong, you could weld the exhaust.
What do you mean by brakes? Pads? Rotors? Calipers? All three? That makes a huge difference.
Alternator... ugh lol
KS is fairly cheap.

Do you work on your car or have a mech/dealer do everything?

these are rough estimates.

alternator ~ $300 new one installed
knock sensor ~ $125 installed (DIY)
exhaust ~ could range from $200 to $600
brakes ~ could range from $50 to $300

i would pay $3000 tops for a 97SE with 130k and these problems.

wow, i just bluebooked a 97 SE with 135k and in EXCELLENT CONDITION it says $2,750 in zip 33445.

guess my 3k was way off.........

id offer 2k at this point. print out the bluebook quote and show it to the seller.

take that price for excellent and start deducting for the things that need to be done.

Yeah buddy, thats my point - a similar car with more miles is valued at a higher price. Please read next time before posting.
