Aftermarket Parts - Good or Bad?

Are aftermarket parts like bumper covers, heated door mirrors, basically exterior parts - will they bolt up like the factory parts or will anyone be able to tell a difference from the factory parts?

All depends on your source for parts.

Most eBay crap will require adjustments to fit, you may however find stuff on there that fits perfectly.

I have a Nappa fan assembly in my car, and they appear to work better than my stock fans did.

Pay attention, specifically, to the part where he mentions exterior parts.

So you're on OEM tires/brake pads/rotors/plugs/bulbs? If so, you'd probably be the only A32...

Well if you would have read right you would have seen where I put "aftermarket parts like BUMPER COVERS, HEATED MIRRORS" basically exterior parts. I've heard some people talk good and bad about aftermarket parts and I am wanting to get people's info & opinions about them. So um no it wasn't stupid to ask.

For the most part, you get what you pay for. If you buy a part from a reputable company, you're going to pay more, but it is more likely to fit correctly than, like others have said, a cheaper part from somewhere like ebay. I'm not saying all parts from ebay are bad quality however. I've purchased several items from ebay for my max and haven't had any problems with them at all.

I have an aftermarket bumper cover and fenders...the bumper cover fits flawlessly but the fenders are pretty off...they dont line up with the door right and they seem thinner than the OEM ones...
