Radiator Help ! Which one would be good and any tips on the job?

My radiator has a crack in the inlet area. no matter how I try to sleeve the tube over, it wouldn't work.

I guess I am due to get a new radiator. I"m wondering if the GD for the KOYO radiator is worth the money? It seems like a good deal, but are aluminum rads better or something?

Thanks.

Any tips on doing the job? Does the front bumper have to come out?

Thanks

They're better at heat dissipation, and you don't have to worry about plastic end tanks breaking or leaking.

Front bumper doesn't need to come off, just remove the two radiator hoses, trans cooler lines (if you're auto), unplug the fan assembly, undo the two brackets that hold it in from the top, and lift out. Personally, when I swapped out to a manual radiator I took the fans off prior to removal of the old, and put them back on after replacement of the new.

I'll go w/ the GD and give it a shot. I have an auto. Fan stays in right as the assembly?

*ON clamps. Are the scew type clamps good? My Nissan ones are totally messed up. I guess if anything, I will use the screw types.

Thanks.

I removed it prior to radiator removal just to make the job overall easier, but that's just me.

Regular worm clamps will be fine ()

Go with the gd koyo, i bought one last year and it's fits to perfection. Easy swap just bolt your fan assembly up and drop it in hook up your hoses and fill er up. You will be happy with it.
