SO...for a windshield wiper motor assembly...you can get these gears?

My wiper motor works, but it just makes a stripped gear sound, so I took the thing apart.

I've seen other threads, but I did not see where to get the gears.

I am going to have to guess a junkyard.

here's some pics of the problem

highlighting where the large gear is actually stripped

I doubt Nissan makes those parts individually. Call up a junkyard for a used motor and swap it in. I think that would be your only option.

Basically. FAST doesn't show them, and the chances of them even being sold individually through whoever actually makes them is slim as well.

Used motor, problem solved.

the prevailing opinion is I have to get a whole new motor, when I just need the transmission gear?

seems like such a waste...the motor is still good

well,
I realize my inital post was somewhat misleading, what the junkyard (and I'm assuming the people on here) are referring to as a wiper transmission is the shafts that are connected to the wiper arms themselves.

Anyway, I went and got a motor for $25 and installed it, for once a repair seemed pretty easy....except one of the bolts for the wiper motor went missing......
