Interior color codes?

the time has come for me to attempt to strip the crappy, peeling, fading paint off my airbag. in the next few weekend i plan to fully remove the paint that is on it now (using laquer thinner ?????) and repaint it to best match the rest of the dash.

ive gone to autozone AND the nissan dealership and neither of them know the "color code" to get that olive/brown shade. my only option left is to just spend 40 dollars on a variety of different shades and try them all, and am wanting to avoid that.
i was hoping one of you knew what color of brown i should be using or what company i should be trying to get this from.

or if you have a mint passenger side airbag for a 97 GLE interior, that works too

Did you not check your VIN plate?

Not the VIN proper, no. It is on the VIN plate under the hood, though.

Yeah that's where it is. I just noticed it was there last week when having my oil changed. It was kinda hard for me to determine what the actual code was considering a lot of it was in Japanese

Good luck with your situation

From the looks of it your airbag was replaced/possibly involved in an accident and/or deployment?
