check engine light back again(any answer)

check engine light back again(any answer)

arrrgggghhhh i got a nice visit from the engine check light again! dammit. i just thought i share with you guys i've got 211xxx plus miles and its backed, the first time i got the engine check light was a couple months ago and it lasted a week and it went away and its back again...

should i be worried..i've checked everything, everything looks good/fine/normal

any help from you guys or suggestions can help!

he's right......mechanics sometimes do it for free.but hurry n get codes....

DTC PO744

i found the error code PO744 and would like to know is there any thing i could do anything about it apart from tranny rebuilding..

Search for both P0744 and 1107, there's information about it here on the org. No need to rebuild the trans, have you tried replacing the solenoid pack yet?

1. Hell of an expense if a ~$100 solenoid pack fixes the problem.

2. 20 or so bolts, some trans fluid, and you're done. Rather easy.
