arrrgggghhhh i got a nice visit from the engine check light again! dammit. i just thought i share with you guys i've got 211xxx plus miles and its backed, the first time i got the engine check light was a couple months ago and it lasted a week and it went away and its back again...

should i be worried..i've checked everything, everything looks good/fine/normal

any help from you guys or suggestions can help!

no. ive gotten my ECU read about 15 times since ive owned the car, and ive never had to pay.

autozone, advanced auto, or even a friendly tech at your local dealership should all do it for free.

 

he's right......mechanics sometimes do it for free.but hurry n get codes....

i found the error code PO744 and would like to know is there any thing i could do anything about it apart from tranny rebuilding..

 

Search for both P0744 and 1107, there's information about it here on the org. No need to rebuild the trans, have you tried replacing the solenoid pack yet?

 

naw i prefer to save my $20 for hookers

 

1. i have already searched through the forums and found the error is related to torque convertor clutch intermittant. but i have no idea what it is... i have visited so many auto shops in last 2 weeks and 100% of them suggest me to replace tranny..

2. i have read replacing solenoid pack as one of the solutions but i donot know how to do it. as i said i have never replaced anything before...

so is there anything lese i could do...

 

Yikes.....

 

1. Hell of an expense if a ~$100 solenoid pack fixes the problem.

2. 20 or so bolts, some trans fluid, and you're done. Rather easy.

 

you only spend 20 bux on hookers? What kind of diesease are you guarenteed to take home after that encounter?
