B&G is lower by only .2" than the H&R but I would go with the H&R

What would be the reason for you to go with H&R instead of B&G?

I went with the B+G's. lower drop, better ride and quality. Team them up with the AGX.s and you will be very happy.

better ride quality? who proved this? im not sure a lower drop will offer better ride quality.. and its not like H&R is some fob coil company.

I believe it goes like this...

B&Gs: 1.6" (front) and 1.7" (back) - medium rough
H&Rs: 1.3" (front) and 1.7" (back) - very mildly rough

have u tested both brands out?
may be b+g has better quality than h+r's, which could improve handling better than a higher height.
there are more than just the height that can be used as a reason for how they perform.

I have tried both out and currently have the B+G's on my car and they are far from medium rough. As mentioned before, they are as comfortable a ride as H&R, have a lower drop and better quality. What more can you ask for.

How do you define quality? Are you actually talking about how the springs are made or what you are feeling? thanks.

Actually both. I can atest to the quality of ride. As far as the quality of craftsmanship goes, my research shows they are one of Europes premiere spring manufacturers and are OE on some impressive nameplates.

how are b&gs with tokicos?
cause i know the toks are fine to out with the H&Rs (they wont blow out like they will with the harsh sprints) would they be ok to run with the b&gs? If they are as soft as the H&Rs i would assume the answer is yes

also does anyone one have pics of the front B&G drop with 17s?

really? I don't think H&Rs back is so damn low! If yeah, that sucks, I hate the saggy a$$ thing, I'd rather have a nice even drop (if I was to drop my car)....
Can anyone confirm this, because I have not noticed anything like that and I have seen a ton of Maximas dropped with H&Rs all seem to be nice and even or the back might sag a little bit due to heavy stereo stuff in the trunk.
Any pics of B&Gs with a body it? is there enough ground clearence?

H&R springs are made in Germany and are also on some "impressive nameplates" such as Mercedes V.W. and B.M.W. I don't think we have any issues with either manufacture as far as the quality of their products goes.

And BTW, if your running an Automatic Trans. with H&R, the extra weight of the trans. will drop you almost 1.7 in the front as is what mine did. The rear dropped about 1.5 - 1.6 maybe.

I don't plan to ever race, just want a smooth ride.

No, H&R's are 1.4" in the front and 1.3" in the back, and please lets not talk about quality those springs (B&G) are new for the max so lets give it some time before we talk about quality.

I'm installing B&G springs and KYB GR-2 set up next weekend.
I will post thread and let people know my driving impressions of this set-up once I've had some time.

Looks like I'm going to order myself a set of H&R, just because I don't know the long term of B&G's and don't want that extra headache later on and spending extra $$$ if anything happens with B&G

you never know until everything settles.

also, when you compare springs, compare weight in car ..

as for riding on stock shocks.. get ready to kiss them goodbye. i had eibachs (eeeeny teeeny drop) ... and i blew shocks within a week, was bouncin all over.
