Check Engine light, Weird code

My check engine light came on today, so I did the ECU check to see what code comes up. of course it's a code thats not listed. it comes up as 0409. Thats 4 slow pulses and 9 fast pulses. Iv done this seriously like 10 times and have had other people come and count the pulses with me and it always comes back as 0409. What the hell is this code?!?!?!?! Has anyone else had this problem?

I read somewhere this morning that if your engine light comes on and you can't find the problem, try tightening your gas cap. I just found that pretty amusing

Since most CEL codes are emissions related, it does make sense...somewhat. A loose/faulty gas cap can cause evap issues, but who doesn't check their codes first?

Especially the A32 folk, since it's so easy.

if it is because of the gas cap its usually because the car is rusty so when the cap it screwed on it doesnt seal properly.

Both the cap and the filler neck are plastic, IIRC.
