No to those lip spoilers.... I think they look terrible. The OE spoilers are the only ones I've seen on the Max's that look good.

i dont think you'll be able to make a non cf spoiler look good on a cf lid.

Looks like I'm in the minority here, but I think the spoiler would look pretty sharp.

I think the CF trunk looks clean without the lip spoiler IMO. Just go without the lip for a few months, if you still feel the need to mount the spoiler then go for it.

The CF trunk looks good the way it is. The lip spoiler seems a little narrow for the trunk. My lip spoiler goes over the edges of the trunk almost a half inch, but yours looks narrower.

If you haven't already done so, search around here for pics with and without spoilers. Also check out cardomain for more pics.

In the end, do what you want. Good luck.

Yes, I've seen cars with OE lip spoilers, but I've never been a fan of those either. Thinking back on all the ones I've seen over the years, I think that the only ones that were able to pull it off were the Gen 2 Maximas and Gen 1.5 Preludes. Even then though, with the true Gen 2 Preludes, I think they went to more of a low profile wing like on stock Gen 4 Maximas and those looked even better. It's been years since I've seen one though, so I could be wrong. I remember Porche having a car that has the lip as well and I thought it just *killed* the looks of the car. It's just a matter of personal preference though. I know a lot of people like the carbon fiber stuff, but I've never been a fan of that either. I wouldn't worry about my opinion though and dwell on it too much because there are plenty of people out there that really like that look. I'm probably just getting old or something.

I agree, the only spoiler is OE style, and its gotta be CF to make it look good.

I think the carbon fiber trunk looks cleaner without the spoiler and it brings out the fact that the trunk is modified moreso than having the lip on there, IMO

I personal think the lip spoilers look kinda nice (on some colors. Defently not on my car)

I think the max looks good w\o spoiler. But there are ones w\ spoilers that are real eye catchers thou. anyways CF trunk looks bad azz.

the lip spoiler has a C/F print..... i can't find a lip spoiler that it real C/F since they never made on stock for a maxima.... but since it a C/F print it more flexible and can fit any car.... but i also have been toying with the idea of wrapping it in C/F.....

Not that spoiler, the CF on the spoiler doesn't look the same compared to the trunk. Atleast from what I can tell. I would go with a better looking CF spoiler if you can find one or no spoiler.

if u looking for a spoiler get the one custom enterprise used to make, someone still sells em(forgot who) anyway its identical to stock but sits a bit higher off the trunk. I could send u a pic if u want

The wing wont look good in just black against the cf trunk and the cf print isnt matching up well so my vote is NO WING. Let the cf trunk shine on its own.

I think hes talking about the gap of the trunk (not spoiler) in this pic on the right. Cause im curious too... thats how it fits? Doesnt look like really good fitment.
