Has anyone tried this?

I saw a commercial for these products and was wondering if anyone had any thoughts or did anyone put one in. I doubt it gives the up to 35 hp improvement, but could it help at all? There are 2 companies selling the same product:

http://www.tornadofuelsaver.com/info/

and

http://www.spiralmax.com/

Spirilmax advertizes in Tunner Mags also.

PLEASE DON'T MOVE THIS POST, I AM INTERESTED ONLY IN 4TH GEN FEEDBACK.

Thanks,
Erik

It does not work. A friend of mine had one in his G3 Maxima. Then he asked me to put it in the 300ZX I had. Then we both agreed that it made no difference to performance and gas mileage whatsoever.

Yep, but when I did a search I kept getting server is full, so I forgot and tried later, again, server full, so I posted it.

You didn't have to use search, the question is answered in the thread titled, "4th gen FAQs". It's at the top of the page with the word "Important" in front of it.

In the faq it only says not to buy it. I wanted to know if anyone tried it. Everyone should really read the question before answering search, and if you guys complain about bandwith saying someone should search needs to be told once, TAI MAI SHU.

If you stop and think about how the induction system on an engine is laid out, you will come to the conclusion that these things are total BS.

Even if they did add some sort of spiral to the flow, why is that a good thing?

Also, by the time the air makes it past the throttle plate and down the individual intake runners, do you think it's still spiralling neatly? Neither do I.

So, if this supposedly beneficial spiral flow doesn't make it to the cylinders, what do you have?

A random piece of metal blocking up your intake.

Well obviously if you use words like IMPORTANT or 4th Geb FAQs nobody is gonna read it. You should change it to "Waht ever you do dont look in here". That will be much more effective. sheesh do I have to think of everything?
