The rear O2 monitors the catylist efficiency. If the sensor is OK, wiring checks out good, then your cat is no longer functioning as it should be.

When i say rear i mean the bank 2 o2 sensor. not the rear catalytic converter sensor

B2S1? The EGR system shouldn't affect that O2 at all (re: CELs). The codes for that sensor are purely to see if it's working, nothing to do with what it sees.

Search for cleaning the EGR, there are a bunch of threads on it. Ex: http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=219204

Yea B2s1, ive reset the computer twice now and in about 200-300 miles both codes will pop up. I was curious if one would cause another, perhaps it was a high flow situation it would cause inaccurate o2 readings since it pulls gas from the rear exaust manifold in theory. I wont know for sure till i clean out the EGR and go from there, Thanks for the reply advice though.
