Tips on tires for different widths of rims....

Ok so some of you know that I have 350z wheels (see sig)

I noticed the other day that when I turn I rub a little. So I want to get the right size tires. Which are 235/40/18. but my question is, since the fronts are 8"wide and the rears are 8.5" wide, so If i got the same size tires all the way around wouldn't the rears sit lower (as in less sidewall) then the front? or am I wayyyy over thinking this..

ahah
