Idle weirdness again (96 Max)

Hi everyone,
A few weeks ago I posted a thread about the idle being strange after the TB and IACV was cleaned (with new gaskets). At first the idle was high then low, then high, etc. A few people in the other thread told me to just drive the car, and I have about 300 miles since the cleaning.

Well the "weirdness" is the fact that at times the idle is perfect and other times the idle is high. I am speaking about the idle when the car is warmed up. There is no rhyme or reason as to when it is good or high. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Zack

mine idles weird too, new plugs and cleaned throttle body and idle has been low after warm up. did you try adjusting the idle??? little screw on drivers side behind block, regular screwdriver and just move it right or left and watch where the idle goes, 5 to 650 rpms is normal after warm up.

Well adjusting it is fine, but there are some times when the idle is totally perfect? It is strange, you never know if the idle will be good or not.

Perhaps a vacuum leak? I'd go back and make sure that everything is toight like a tiger when you put the intake back together.
