the clearance lights? yeah I did, not a fan unless you do the bumpers as well, though my clearance's weren't in great shape.

i think i'd like it on the I30's clearance lights.. with the same pattern to match on the bumpers tho

I believe he meant the OEM orange colored cornering lights.

orange + nightshade would be pretty dark. you might get harassed by the police if they "cant see your turn signals"

A can of Nightshade plus shipping is half the cost of getting new lights. Plus don't forget about the time you're going to spend applying the Nightshade stuff etc.

I say pony up the extra $15.

Yeah, but I actually like the look of the blacked out lenses vs. clear lenses with black housings.

yo go to lamix-x.com and buy this tint and cover the corners with them, they still appear when you turn them on but you can't tell the color when they are off. I have my taillights blacked out with this tint and you can't see nothing until i press on my brakes. I have had them on for 6 months and never been bother by the cops. Also they are 3 times thicker than window film, all you do is peel of the paper, and stick them to your corners and just cut the excess of.

check out my links in my sig, i have some pics of my taillights.

I blacked mine out but they started out as clears. Contact bluebatmobile, he makes overlays for the maxima for all of the exterior lights on our cars. I'll post pics later.

ive done this (as well as many others) using the tint, black spray paint, and the niteshades method. i too love the fact that it looks like they're not even there, especially on a black max like mine. looks soo much better imo. ive even taken out the side marker bulb too. the tint didnt work too well because the tint i used didnt conform to the curves at all. black spray paint didnt work because light didnt shine through (i didnt care at the time).niteshades all the way.
