something wrong with transmission?

I have a '98 GXE auto with about 39,000 miles on it and recently I noticed that sometimes the car does not go into overdrive when I'm on the freeway. Like usually in the morning this happens, the engine is near to normal temp, so the tranny should be in normal operating temp also, but I get stuck in 3rd gear when driving on the freeway for like 10 minutes maybe, then it goes into 4th. Even when I back off the gas, its still in 3rd. I assum its 3rd because my RPM at 80mph is at around 3,200 when its usually at around 2,700. I recently changed the tranny fluid with Mobile 1 synthic. I was able to drain about 4 quarts, and put in 4 quarts of the Mobile 1. I also checked the level, and it was at the middle with the transmission to operating temp and the engine at idle. Anyone know what could be the problem?

Yeah, I thought about doing that, but dealing with them dealers is a pain in the a**. Thats why I wanted to see what you guys on the org knew about the problem. Well, I see if the problem still happens this week, and see if I need to take it to the dealer.

Take it to the dealer. It does not sound normal. My car is still near cold and sometimes I hit 60 almost right away because I live near a highway. Never did it not go into overdrive.
