Should I part out or just sell whole my maxima?

I just bought a 2004 Maxima to replace my 1995.
I'm going to miss my 95, its been a great car, i just needed something nicer for my business vehicle.

Bose radio, tan leather interior, Auto. Blue BM1 exterior paint.

However it now has 181,000 miles still runs strong tho, the hood, front bumper cover need to be replaced and the rear bumper cover needs a repaint, the interior is in decent shape considering its age, but its Tan interior and Blue mettalic exterior. I know most everyone that seem to do swaps want to get black interior.

Considering that many are getting rid of their 4th Gen these days should i just sell it outright? or part the whole thing out? I don't want to spend a year parting it out, but a month or two would be ok. I don't mind shipping smaller parts but things like doors/engine etc would be local pickup only.

Any feedback appreciated!

I say try to sell the full car. Clean it up good first though. If you cant sell the car, start selling it for parts. Then try to sell the rest to somebody for cheap.

Any pictures of the car ??

Try selling the car as a whole. I sold a 211k mile 12yr old Nissan many years ago for close to $2k. It wasn't in that great a shape but I cleaned it up very nicely, waxed it and the first guy that saw it brought cash the very nexy day and bought it.

Craigslist is free - no harm putting it up there to see what kind of feedback you get.

It is far easier to sell the whole car. You might make a little more parting it out, but then you have to go through the hassle of finding stock parts, etc. I went through this dilemna as well with my maxima. I had over $25K in mods on top of the price of the car, so I seriously debated parting it out to at least recoup some of the costs. But then I realized that it would have been an enormous amount of work. And it was just worth it to sell the car as is.

if it runs good and the body doesn't have major damage sell it out right. I don't see why it wouldn't sell.

return it to stock (if you have that many mods) then sell whole.

put it on ebay, list the condition of the car, take a lot of pics. set a reserve and let her go.

go back to stock (as close as you can) and sell whole... i think that would be the best idea...

Thanks for the feedback here guys, I can tell this forum is still great!
I will indeed post photos here in the next couple of days, as I'm taking it in for a detail this weekend. I will most likely heed the advice of 95% of you and sell it outright.

I don't have much done to it these days other than ypipe, ODP, blue led interior, and blue gauge needles, Custom Maxima tail lights, but hey i was too lazy to sell any of my original stuff so i can swap those all out too at any time.
