Air Bag Light! make this a recall? Who wants in?!

I know some might think this is stupid but I have an airbag light that i reset and reset and reset. I get it for the passenger side airbag like everyone else but thats not where the problem is. Of course we can all take out the bulb, ignore it or tape it but what if you actually have a fault in your air bag system you'd never know because we're too busy ignoring. I drive my family around it is really starting to get to me. Not safe

I think that since it is an AIR BAG SYSTEM issue they should FIX IT free of charge ALWAYS instead of screwing us over for a $500+ module etc repair when they know that there is a problem that was made in their design. I've heard of some dealers who do this for free and others will not do this. My proposal:

Everyone who wants this to be a recall goes and complains to Nissan and to NHTSA(national Highway traffic safety admin-government) until they fix it.

Samples of complaints I've found on the site:

Make: NISSAN
Model: MAXIMA

Year: 1998
Complaint Number: 10071274
Summary:
THIS IS THE THIRD TIME THE AIRBAG MODULE HAS BEEN REPLACED.THE FIRST TWO TIMES WERE UNDER WARRANTY AND WERE DEFECTS, NOW THAT I AM AT 110000 KM I AM TOLD IT IS NOT A DEFECT AND I HAVE TO PAY FOR IT. THIS CAR HAS NEVER BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT THEREFORE HOW IS IT THAT THE AIRBAG MODULES KEEP HAVING A PROBLEM?

this one below is what i'm talking about

Make: NISSAN
Model: MAXIMA

Year: 1998
Complaint Number: 10012284
Summary:
LETTER ON BEHALF OF ANTHONY A ABELE CONCERNING NON DEPLOYMENT OF FRONT AND SIDE AIR BAGS DURING A CRASH INVOLVING 1998, NISSAN MAXIMA. *AK
there are few more but i think that last one proves my point

EDIT: found a better one

Make: NISSAN

in order for something to be a recall it must be a safety issue.
a failed module issue is not a safety issue. no harm is caused by the failure, the lack of repairing the failure can cause harm. in theory if the light is on, the system is deactivated thereby rendering it safe.
if the failed module were to cause the airbag to go off for no reason then you have a recallable problem.
