need help, ball joint or control arm ???

******EDIT******
Alright i've decided to change the control arm, but now im hearing stuff about bushings (im still a newb when it comes to mechanical things) and that just threw me way off. so if i get the LCA from

www.internetautomart.com, it will come with the "bushings" right?

Also, i'm pretty sure i need a new ball join too, i've looked around and seen that they cost about $120, is that right? or was i looking at something else? would it be normal for me to spend almost $200 on a new LCA and ball joint?

OP
so the guy i go to for most of my mechanical repairs was showing me how my lower right control arm/ball joint were bad and that i needed to buy a new control arm. then he said something about the ball joint probably coming attatched, but that it was the ball joint that was bad.

while the car was still on the ground he was able to wobble the wheel in and out a little bit and then once he had the car on the lift he tried it again and it wobbled a little more...

last time i was at nissan they said it was a bad control arm... but then wanted to charge me like triple what theyre worth..so maybe they intended to change the ball joint too?

so does this sound like a bad control arm and ball joint or just one or the other??? what should i buy? any good sites?

U can change the LBJ w/o having to buy a new LCA. I have done it on my maxima but if you a lot of miles on the car u are better off replacing the entire arm with new LBJ and LCA bushings.

Yea u can change just the ball joints, but if u are getting control arms, might as well get new ball joints just for peace of mind(ball joints are pretty cheap too). Oh, why do you need new control arms? Are they bent, or is it just the bushings? If its the bushings buy new ones and get them pressed in. I was not able to take out my ball joints without them getting pressed out. One trip with the control arms, and I was good to go with new bushings and ball joints.
