Question about Superchargers

Ok, I really want a SC for my Maxima and as I was looking on Ebay I came across an Xterra SC. My question is Would that SC be able to be fitted on a VQ30 and IF it can Would it have a considerable amount of boost? If this is not possible, what would be some other cheaper options? Thanks!

Even better try the for sale section, a couple of days ago there were people selling SC's, and grab a Matty's plate. As in cheaper options...anything is cheaper than a SC or turbo(bolt-ons and such).

it would require major modification. CHEAP SUPERCHARGER AND MAXIMA dont belong in a sentence

Yea I agree. Cheap and Supercharger never really end up in the same sentence. If you do supercharge, it will require alot of TLC on the car and patients while doing so.

Read up in the forced induction section for more information but there are options out there to build your own kit on a budget with my V1 Kit.

Only one kind has been made to work with our Maximas thus far. It's a centrifugal supercharger, and it's made by Vortech.

Start lurking in the Supercharger/Turbo forum and read the stickies etc.

Why is this posted in 4th gen ???? there is a forum for FI if you look!

Also ... if you have this many questions about SCing your Max ... you need to READ, then and only then ... post if you have questions. Don't expect to do it cheaply btw ... adding FI to anything gets expensive quickly.

Crap..the name escapes me, but who was it that did the M90 roots charger on his car...and before even tuning it totalled the car? Someone did get it to work...maybe we need someone to invest the money just to find out if it's really worth it?

-Edit: It was Craig Mack.

Your question was not legitimate and there is a good reason it was not answered. Study and answer your question yourself.
