so you blew your old motor and now you got a new/used motor in it, right?
So why can't everything be plugged back in to where it used to be plugged in the old motor?

cause he's a NOOB who can't even tell you that it's not a "wire hardness" so ... if he knew it was a harness, maybe he'd have better luck.

OMFG ... what is the world coming too?

I think the wires are too hard maybe.

Anyway, more seriously, can we get a little more info about what you are doing? We might be able to help with better information. Did you rebuild your motor? Are you swapping in another motor? Are you using your harnesses? Is the motor you are swapping in another VQ30DE out of the same generation of Maxima? Are you using the same transmission? A different one? A manual swap?

Details on exactly what you are doing please.

You'll either have to modify the wiring the same as you would in a 5MT swap, or get the correct wiring harness.

The connectors between 5MT and 4AT are different, both inside and outside the car.

can you not refer to it as "wiringhardness" please? I know misspelling happens, but you keep calling it "hardness". It's "harness", OK?? thanks.....

Try submerging the hard wires in a water softner.
