I will be hopefully today closing a deal on some almost completely prestine set of G35 Coupe rims. Only 1 rims has slight curb rash. I'm giddy with anticipation (and can't wait to get rid of those blasted spacers). I will pick up the rims for $350.

The extent of the curb rash:

Nice ... good deal btw!

That rash is not that bad and you might be able to get a shop to flush it out for you. Shouldn't cost much I wouldn't think. That is assuming you even mind that much.

Those rims will look goood on your ride though, nice find!

I'll be reusing the tires I used on my old rims I sold to Ilyak. They are Kuhmo SPT's, 225/45/18's. Nothing fancy, but they were practically brand new, so I want to use them.

Nice! Did you have issues with the center-caps?

I read some post where people weren't able to install the center-caps on 4th gens..

I have 5.5 gen GLE center caps. From what I gather, they are likely to fit. If not, I'll sport the infiniti ones.

The center cap fitment issue is concerning the caps not snapping all the way into the rims b/c of how far in the rim sits, the gold cap in the rear prevents the center cap from snapping in fully, and up front it is prevented by the axle nut iirc.

Sweet rims! I've got the G35 sedan 17s and am running with no center caps until I figure out what I can do besides spacers...

I can't wait to see some pictures of them mounted! I've also got Kumhos on mine and I love them....

Alright the moment of truth:

02 GLE center caps work. They snap in just fine. I believe my rear axle dust caps were hammered in so they clear. Also I had a problem were I needed to use the 5mm spacer up front because hub of the wheel wouldn't engage the hub of the brake rotor right. Also my lugs were too long, so I need to replace my lugs as right now, the studs are sticking thru them slightly up front. Finally, I goofed on my tire size, they are 225/40/18. The caliper clearance is phenomenal! I can get my fingers between the spokes and the calipers

You're just jealous. I've always like the way these wheels looked, and I couldn't say no for the price and condition.

And boy am I happy. Looks like we both made out on this deal man, cause this is a great set for an UNBELIEVABLE price.

I also have 225/45/18 Kumho SPT's on mine...lol. 100% pleased with them.

Naw, I think I might be doing the Ionic Dynamics kit. Besides, I have some 1 piece cefiro's with a TL retrofit coming soon and a few other things to differentiate.
