5th gen steering column

anyone know if a 5th gen 2000-2001 sterring column will bolt up in a 98? i am working on a project.

i know the part that mounts to the steering wheel is wider than the 4th, but not sure anyway has tried the whole column yet.

The entire column? I dunno if that'll work. They might be close enough, but I think things aren't going to mount in the same place. If you want to be the guinea pig, it's your money.
