I am going to change my struts/shocks and springs to tokico blues and Intrax springs... i was wondering should i or should i not cut the bumpstops? The instructions say to cut an inch off, but i have heard that the ride gets worse when you hit the bumpstops and that leaving them on will lessen the blow on the bumpstops? any opinions would be appreciated and hands on experience would be great..thanks.

Cut off 1 rib.

Cutting down the bumpstops leaves more room for the suspension to compress, which is a good thing. However, cutting off too much of the bumpstop could result in damage to the strut if you compress to suddenly (aka the strut literally crashes back into the strut housing).

Cut off 1 rib.
