2009 4th Gen Calendar Extention

I've gotten a lot of great pictures but I need some more. Many of the pictures that were submitted were to low res. After cropping for the calendar format they didn't work. I need some more pictures!

I'm extending the deadline until the 20th. I want cool looking pictures that are calendar worthy. Take your car to unique locations. I'll be posting some of the pictures that qualified in later threads.

Thanks guys! Check the reminder thread for details.

Here some basic guidelines/recommendations for the camera n00bs (that I posted in the old calendar thread as well).

I take it that my 5.1MP didn't work too well...I have someone who took a bunch of action shots of my car with a D20, so I'll send you those asap!

EDIT:: on friday its supposed to be sunny, im gonna try and go take some more at that location and at LP field. any type of local you think would look good

Fired in a few more shots. Nothing stellar, since it's been rainy here everytime I've left the house!

Take the pictures in some better locations, with no odd angles. I have to crop the pictures again for the calendar and odd angles dont work out too well.

Make the picture unique. I have a lot of pic like yours. YOu have a unique car. Take some pitures that accent your uniquess and make sure you have a good location.

I got them. If you could snap a few more a little closer to the car that would be great. The car is a little to far back for cropping. Get some more detail of the car. Personally I love you Sig pic...

Also if someone could, I want a picture of the Maxima emblem on the trunk lid for the cover shot. Could someone hook me up with that? Mine is kind of falling apart.

Anything but a parking lot or your driveway.

A parking lot with your city's skyline in the background is fine though. Something to give the picture more 'personality'.

In my case above, I used graffiti and an old train yard to do this.

FYI to everyone. Just keep taking pictures and submitting them. That would me me happy and your chances of making it into the calendar extremely high!

Maxima emblem:

I had to do it from the side cause head on mine is kind of beat up as well. This view, you can't really see the blemishes.

Two versions:

Keep sending in pictures guys. I have a few good ones, but not enough to make the calendar work.

Oh and quit asking me if your pictures are good. You be the judge. Keep submitting pictures if your not satisfied.

BeZerk,

I sent you an e-mail several days ago but have not heard anything from you. I don't need an answer as to whether I am in the calendar or not, but a response that you received the pictures would be nice (as I requested). I spent 3/4 of a day washing, driving, shooting, uploading, creating a gmail account, etc. So a confirmation would be appreciated. Thanks!
