If he had your top of the line brake system he would have been find. On second though with all that braking power he maybe would have gotten rear ended.

GTFO! You're making Darwin roll around in his grave. I had a BBK. I don't care how top of the line your BBK is, it wouldn't make a damn difference because BBK don't stop you from being an idiot, or putting yourself in stupid situations like I did here.

Hind sight is 20/20, just be glad you walked away and are gonna be there for your child. Blaming yourself won't help...you were put in a tight situation (not sure I would've reacted any differently), the max sacrificed its life for your own. Count you blessings!

ABS would of just kept you in a more control straight line. It wouldn't of stopped you any better, but you would of had a lot more control and prob miss the pole.

If he locked the wheels, then yes it would have stopped him better. Most people panic when they lock the brakes and just mash the pedal and hope for the best.

I lost a dozen eggs. Some of the packaging for a lot of it got dented up or crushed. They still made it home though. My wife came to the scene and we moved everything but the eggs, to the blue car. The eggs went into a trash can.

Hope you are feeling better now Sarin, I wish I had a chance to ride in it. I hope everything works out with your new plans. I wouldn't mind seeing a rosewood s/c 4th gen at one of the meets. If not you at least need to boost the 5th gen. Once I got the turbo on the car I realized it had some more power and especially having kids I always consider something going wrong if I tried something and they were in the car, so I don't do it. I also drive a box truck for work so I'm used to idiots cutting me off and trying to cut me off, you get used to it, and knowing I have the power to blast past them in the max I just let it go. Hind sight is always 20/20. It also ackward if you overtake someone and end up the first one to sit at the red light.

Mostly, I'm glad Sarin is OK. Dumbass wouldn't go to the ER until I forced him to that night.

It does suck because I spent thousands of dollars and years and years working on that car. It's how I learned how to work on cars, mechanical theory, and all that.

Sarin was about the only person who really loved the car as much as I did, and thus why I decided to sell it to him. It will always have a place in my heart. More important than that - Sarin - I'm glad you're OK.

Friends > Cars.

But if I ever see you driving like an *** again though, I'm going to punch you in the face.....And your penance is what is below in my Sig from now on.....

Let's just say that we have all learned a good lesson @ Sarin's expense.
Let's hope that next time we get p1$$ed off @ someone, we'll remeber his loss and chill.

Well there is some positives from this. One, I get to mod my 5th gen from stock out. I've always love doing this...build a car from the ground up. Granted this one will not be nearly as extensive...or as powerful, I still get to have an ongoing project. Two, the S/C gets passed on to another local ethusiast. Which means I still get to work on a boosted car, and it won't cost me a single dime!
