I Thought OBD II Readers Turn Off Air Bag Light
Air bag light is blinking and from what I recalled was that this OBD II reader would turn it off.
Last time my friend at the Nissan dealership turned it off for me manually. Just can't remember how he did it.

OBD-II won't turn off your airbag light, no. CONSULT will, though.
Search, there are instructions all over the place around here to reset/clear the light. That, or just look in the FSM.
