? for guys with dual exhaust

just wondering, how much did it cost to do a dual exhaust setup and what brand mufflers did you put on? I was thinking about getting it done also, but I just wanted to know about how much money I will be losing

oh yeah, forgot to ask one more thing... is it worth it??? does it add anymore hp than having 1 exhaust, or is it strictly for looks?

I didnt pay full price, I paid about $210. It will run you about $350 to replicate mine. I used a Flow Master Camero muffler(1 inlet, 2 outlets). I ran 3" pipe from the cat to the muffler so I lost some low end, if you run 2.5" you should be fine. You might lose a very small amount if you go bigger after the muffler but you will gain top end rpm power also.

I love it, it sounds better than any single tip exhaust I've heard. With CAI, Stillen Y, RT cat it sounded deeper than a 5.0 rustang. It is mostly for looks and sound, but there are performance gains to be had also.

Well, a Flow Master muffler should run about $110-130. If you want tips those are about $35-45 each. Add on the piping and labor and thats your cost.

Can anyone tell me of a shop that can sell/install the a cat-back exhaust system with dual mufflers in Los Angeles? How much for the cat-back exhaust system with the dual muffler (driver and passenger side) from flowmasters, and the labor for a 97?

Yep, she's on her way out.

Im looking for something cheap to do for duals to the car so that I can take the good cat-back I have on there right now off and if you still want it, I'd be willing to sell to you. That is if I can find a cheap replacement.

Damn! I am about to buy Emax's Stillen S/S muffler! How long do you think it would take for you to sell it to me, and are you 100% sure ? I am in a dilemma now.
