Oh **** thats right, I forgot about the one rule of automotive performance that says every motor responds the same to any given modification. Well we ought to change the dyno-proven general consensus around here then that intakes really aren't worth the money. Clearly we have all been proven wrong. I dont even NEED to see a dyno of your pulsar or accord to believe you man...you just set us straight. ROCK ON!!

You can generally count on a stock 5spd 4th gen to put down like 160-165whp. With I/Y/E, ECU, and MEVI or 00VI 195-200whp is pretty common, so 30-40whp from those mods in general. Some cars put down more, some cars put down less, some dynos read high, some dynos read low, etc.

What's your point exactly??

Different cars respond differently to mods. You can't generalize like that.

dude, my air filter allowed me to run 3 seconds faster on the 1/4 mile, or it could have been the nx... but more likely the filter.

dont make any claims for your own car until you've checked out how other completely different cars are responding to those mods. Thats the only way to confirm that it made a difference or not.

couldn't you have just made a new thread for that? Thats ultimately the next best option (Aside from bumping a month old pos) if you want to get out the word on some pointless info in the 4th gen section.

that sounds about right. I knew these cars were sleepers...nissan purposely restricted them from the factory so they wouldn't outsell the 300zx tt
