what is this thing? pic in side



what is this...i am pointing to where it was broke off what looks like the part that atches it to a cylderic type deal under neath the front driver side head light.
I was in an accident last night and this was broken.

the tag says:
calsonic 7-d
H/P 2.85MPa
M/P 1.62MPa
L/P 0.28MPa
have nooo clue what it is.

Could be a pressure sensor for the A/C.

that would seem about right..its right next to the rad support on the driver side of the car...the cylder is about the size of a kitchen tall glass.
is this thing super important can i drive a couple of days with out it?

the cooling fans are Calsonic too, I think. could be something from the cooling system

the picture is too close to really tell .... but I agree with Sarin, probably your AC sensor switch.

Yeah agree to it goes on the receiver/drier its easy to remove and install a new one. Oh yeah by the way i got one brand new got receipt for it and still in its original package. PM me if interested, i can send pics if you want.

Does any one know the failure to this or the replacement to this, will it let all my AC coolent out? or the r134 stuff?
