no, no nitres on the car. it was 100% stock. now i just need a new exaust on it but i mean think about it 50HP for 500 bucks that 10$ per a horse power... thats amazing ratio i mean u can pay 700 for a new intake and an exaust that will only add about 20.

u can spend a little over half of that and get a vi for 50 redline HP

and then the other half to a ypipe for more gains

No, he was saying that for $500 you can get a decent nitrous setup to add a fair amount more power for the Maxima (or any car).

Obviously aftermarket ECUs or tunes for stock turbo cars are going to gain far more power than an NA car.

This question is ridiculous. Search much?

performance mods vary from car to car, they make the chip for the maxima but no such hp gains, if there was such thing as this "miracle chip" that gives you great amounts of power, it would have been shared by other members.

im pretty sure that theres some good info on mod chips on the stickies that will help you understand them a lil better and like mentioned before, the gains are probably greated on turbo cars compared to N/A cars .

Forget about all of that. If you want 50 easy HP, you need to go to Autozone and buy the "NOS" in a can. You have to save the empty can after you put it in the gas tank though, this is key. Trust me. When you pull up alongside a Skyline, take the bottle & show it to him while you proceed to rev up. You don't even have to say anything, he'll know what's up and will back off. Oh, you HAVE to have the Fast and Furious soundtrack playing, or none of this will work - this is critical. Simply having that cd in the glove compartment is good for at least 150 peak HP.

+1 on that. But also, when you run the Audi chip with the NOS can, dont pour too much in the tank. If you do, a metal plate will unbolt and scrape on the ground and you will damage your intake manifold.

I love these stupid chips for turbo cars that mainly just add boost. I was arguing with an HHR SS guy one time about how he thought his car had superior performance potential. I looked at the chips website and all the advertised horsepower gains were shown on a 2nd gear dyno pull (wtf?) and they were due to the chip increasing the boost to 30 psi. IMPRESSIVE. Not to mention they were numbers I could have put out on a 5th of the boost.

I hate worse the pocket flash tools. If you can get one for your car it's $5-$700 for a god damn cookie-cutter tune, hell they broke the code and bin stuff, all they have to do is add some user program and stuff and you could write your own maps to those cars. No, instead they sell the retards on miracle flashes that have tunes that would get owned by piggybacks, WTF. SRT-4 is perfect example, I'm adding an e-blue to one very shortly even thoughit has a god damn $1k aftermaret ecu in it. Bull**** I tell you.

Cool thing is Nistune is still working on a eeprom chip for the A32, soon enough you will be able to send them your ecu and around $500 and be able to control every paramter you want at speeds that will pwn any piggyback.

Oh and yeah, I hate to say it, you got peeled on that $500 audi chip, money could have been much better spent with a boost controller, a piggyback, and some time on the dyno.

Exactly, not that they don't give tons of gains, but they should be tuneable. I hate the idea of modding deisel trucks though, especially when they put bigger turbo's on them, ****ing disgusting when you see them going down the track pissing out black smoke because they're dumping tons of fuel in to raise the egt's and spool the turbo, and they still run a 17
