Selling my max locally, Need advice on firm asking price. (pics)

1995 Maxima SE
165k
Auto
Leather seats

Repairs:
-Replaced waterpump
-Engine is well maintained
-Smooth idle, never turns off on me

Works fine and strong for a 15 year old car...except;
-Clunks when making slow turns to the right.
-Has that timing chain knock issue at cold starts but goes away once warm.
-Was backed into by neighbor who denies it on rear quater panel.
-Was rear ended, minor rear impact bar damage.
-infamous CD player error on headunit, needs new sound system, front speakers fart, rears are still good.

Never reported anything to DMV because, the person who backed into it was a hit and run. And the person who rear ended me was an illegal immigrant and had no insurance but paid for bumper body work. (dumb idea, i know, i regret it).

Anyways, here are some pics. KBB FAIR condition is about 2600$.

What it looks like now:

I was thinking 2000$ Would that be fair? Some dude offered me 1400$ but i felt it was too low. There's no major frame damage, just some minor body.

Well it is a GXE and no offense but as low in options as you can get for a maxima. You are prob looking at $1500-$1800-ish. With the issues it has and miles. With all issues fixed you could sell it for 2K. but prob will have a hard time still because of the options and being auto.

The resell on our cars is complete ****. I love my max and it is one of the cleanest maxima SEs for its age. (Paint is a little scratched and pitted but hey it is a 10 year old car) It is the most mint one you will see with these options of being black on black 5 speed with about 2K in mods... and with 175k miles and I am lucky to see a little over 3K IF THAT. Bought car 2 years ago when it was worth $5700. But i got is much cheaper then that.

Hope this helps.

IMO i think your car worth no more than $1000. ( no offense ) You have a few damage there 1/4 panel $500 , rear bumper $200 , and minor engine issue and maybe axles. Everything will equal about $1000 and your car will worth $2000 once it fix other than that i would say $1000 or at most $1200.

O yah, I forgot about early Gen 4s being somewhat SE already without SE features that the later Gen 4s have like mine.

Why the heck did you put these pics of the car in a damaged state in your post and ask how much the car is worth, if this isn't the current state of the car?
