Cut Wire Near Y-pipe

I removed my Stillen y-pipe yesterday to install my new gaskets and got them on and put the pipe back. Today I noticed that there is a wire towards the back of the y-pipe that connects 2 bolts. You have to remove it to get the y-pipe of. I am not sure how but it is broken. What exactly is this wire and is it necessary? How do I replace it? Does Nissan sell them?

If it near the catalytic, flat and braided like without insulation, it is a ground... just buy another and replace it.

Thats it, do I need to buy one from Nissan or can I Just get a general wire to use? Is the car safe to drive without it?

I hope it's safe! Quite some time ago, I noticed that this ground was just dangling. It is connected at one end but the other end is ripped and I have no freaking clue where the other end is supposed to go. I've driven the beast 30k miles since then so I figure it can't be that important...
