I think I will try the Redline injector cleaner and a different gas station before going to a shop but other than that I am out of ideas.

now that's waaaaay bad. At least I get 450-500 highway@ avg. speed over 75mph (or I used to. I haven't gone on a longer trip for a while)

i dont get any where near that. i average 19mpg with 50/50 city/highway. i usually get around 315mi before my light comes on, but i like to get gas when its around 1/4 of a tank, that's usually around 275mi... fantastic

i get better mpg for sure. I almost never go on the freeway these days. when I was back home in AR I drove mostly highway and then city on the weekends and never had it below 24 mpg avg. when I drove from AR to UT for school the car full all the way with my stuff. the butt was VERY low to the ground and my avg speed on that trip (1300 miles) was over 70 mph and I got 27 mpg. on an empty car from Salt Lake to Reno NV with avg speed over 75 mph I got 29mpg. that was just this summer, August I think.

well technically, if u dont press the gas pedal u then get 0 mpg cuz ur not goin nowhere

i did some calculations of my own today because im planning in using my max to drive me from reading pa to houston tx. (roughly 1600 miles) ive only owned it for a month so i was kinda leary on the plan but i took it out today and drove from reading to king of prussia, then to westchester then made a big loop back around and went back to reading. i calculated that i was getting 29 highway.before i made this trip i calculated what i was getting 16 city.

does 16/29 sound good? sounds a lil low city wise.
