Proof of JDM spec VQ power

Hi guys. Heres some pages I found that proves the power claims made by RoAd BeAsT and myself. This is purely for information only and to show the people who doubted us. This is in no way braging.

RoAd BeAsT's VQ30DE
As you will see, its at 162 kw which is roughly 220hp assuming 11kw = 15hp.

NZ Max's VQ25DE
In this one the 2.5 is at 140kw which is roughly 190hp using the same calculation as above.

Hey dude, thanks for the link, thats really good. I put it in my favourites. I hated having to look up in the maxima book to find the conversion then opening calculator and doing it.

I hear the octane in Japan is higher thus the ignition maps can be made more aggrssive? :dunno:

The octane rating of my Cefiro is 91. This is what the owners manual recommends. We also have 96 in New Zealand and sometimes 98

bah there's a car tuner in korea who's working on a samsung sm520 (korea's equivalent of the maxima) dunno with engine its working with but here's some numbers

600 hp
trust td-06 turbo

there's a lot more but i cant read korean
