Transmission Speed Sensor location

Wzup people! Does anyone know where the transmission speed sensor goes? A picture with the explanation would be awesome. I want to know if this is a part that an amature can replace. Maxima.org has saved me SO much money on labor. Let's see if we can do it again. Thanks for the help.

did you need one??? I changed mine cause i thought mine was going bad. Turned out to be my tranny that was bad. So i have one laying around if you need one. I'd sell it for cheap. Whatever the dealer charges, i'll cut that at LEAST in half shipped.

Yes, you can replace it yourself. It is on top of the trans toward the rear. You'll need to remove the intake to be able to reach down in and get it. It's held by one screw with a 10mm head. Then you just pull up and twist (take your time!!) until it pops loose. I recommend wearing a glove so you don't shred your knuckles on something.

What exactly has you in belief that the sensor is shot? If it's a speedo problem the sensor is only one of several possible root causes.
