I do believe this is a noob question

my question is, what would i have to do, to put an A32 body kit on my car from japan. I was looking at it and it looks like it would fit fine, but ive heard that the sides are the wrong length for the maxima

I believe the sides are the only pieces that would fit correctly on your Maxima. Those look like the Brougham sides with custom front and rear and a JP rear spoiler.

Isn't A32 the (Frame?) code?

So the Maxima, Cefiro, I30s are all A32s...correct?

Anyway, why would you want that bodykit? It takes away all definition from the body and just make sit look like box on wheels. IMHO of course.

the kit is japan fabulous, and it is $910 plus shipping and you get
1. front bumper
2. rear bumper
3. foglamp (new but not fabulous)
4. side skirt
5. door panel
6. rear spoiler.
I want this kit because, I have never seen it in america. I want something that nobody else has

for sure you would have to purchase I30 front fenders. Or hack yours to bits to get that kit to look like a decent fit. Also, some work would have to be done to the rear quarter. on an i30 the bumper extends to the rear wheel. The maxima has sheet metal. Look closely and you will see what I mean.
The kit might be under 1000 but I bet the body work will come in over 3000 without paint to get it to look right.
good luck.

then theres the grill and hood. the i30 grill is part of the hood. oh and relocate the latch so you can open your hood. I think that's about it.
I would also bet that those little side caps for the rear spoiler are the wrong shape against the body.

IMHO more work than what it's worth.
sell your car and buy an i30 ftw.

The man told me $910 for the kit and approximately $500-600 for shipping from Australia.

I would like to buy an i30 as a project car once I get set with a good job

unless you get better suited looking wheels and suspension to accommodate that box of a bodykit, your going to look like crap. plus factor in the amount of labor and paint to get that on the car, whether it be an i30 or a maxima.

waste of money IMO

fyi i30's are longer in the rear than maximas. i don't know by how much. to echo what the others have said, buy an i30 if you want that kit

also, waste of money, you dump 5-8k installing that kit with paint, labor, and whatever other fees are attached and the first rock or drive way or curb that comes along is going to blow your lid.

daily's with any kit other than a simple ground control get torn up quick, especially lowered. just my.02

There is no way that kit would fit a Maxima without some body modifications.
Maxima front fenders wont line up with the front bumpes and the rear quarter panel wouldnt line up with the rear bumper.
Once you swap the fenders you have to go with Cefiro headlights and the grill is needed if you want it to flow with the bumper. The Maxima grill would just look odd with that bumper.

i'm not a big fan of the front bumper. Is it just me, or does it look like you basically put a plow in the front?

the maxima lines arent that great, i hate the way the rear part of the car looks. and so what if it looks boxy, at least he wont have a stillen lip or icondynamics full kit that everyone in this site has.

Im all for being unique, but the reality is this kit really doesnt fit the Maxima body.
If your a fan of the boxy look, a 3rd gen or even a 2nd gen is more for you.

That is an option, but it wont be any cheaper, the hours of labor it would take to mold and smooth the bumpers to the body wont be cheap.
were not saying it cannot be done, just that is not cost effective for a maxima.

You can modify the grill all you want, it still wont look right. Better off just swapping the hoods, a lot less work and you know it will flow with the bumper.

Just because they try to do it, doesnt mean its truly VIP. True VIP cars are big bodied sedans decked out look even more luxurious. The style is said to originate from the Yakuza, I doubt they would be rolling in xB's or fits. Just doesnt fit the gangster lifestyle,.. which is what the VIP look represents.

Looks better than all the jankey *** body kits state side for an A32. You can probably get it through RHDjapan or pandagarge. Of course the wait will be a while and etc... Japaneese Aero isn't too easy to get.

Anyways heres some pics of another nice vip cefiero from singapore. I think i posted pics of this car on here somewhere before already though.
