Gas leak when filled up and "topped off"??
I got home the other day from filling up my car. Came out an hour later and noticed the smell of gas. Looked under the car to see a pretty big spot of gas under the gas tank and saw that fuel was leaking down the fuel sending line and dripping onto the ground.
I got really concerned but then drove it for about 30 miles and got back home ok. I left it in a different spot on the driveway and checked it a few hours later and no more leak.
So, should I be concerned? Is it possible the leak really is only some type of overflow or just a small leak only if I end up topping the tank off? Or should I have it inspected anyway?

Could you see exactly where it was leaking from? Try pulling the fuel pump access cover, see if it's leaking from up there.
Regardless, there's no point in 'topping off' the tank, you'll just cause problems. Last thing you want is liquid fuel in the EVAP canister.
