Just wondering. Im completely bone stock and its still a young motor (63k) but when floor it, i chirp around that range. Never happened on my 95 (auto), and that car had a y pipe. Also, its the driver side wheel only, lol. I was worried i had bad axles or something but after a couple runs it was pretty consistent.

 

could it be slight wheel hop? if it is i'd bet on your motor mounts

Mine would always just spin through first and chirp into second, never got a single random chirp

so it chirps going into second around 3500-4500, or you floor it, it chirps in that range than revs out and shifts??? im a little lost.

 

It chirps when you force a downshift into 1st? Or from a dig/roll on the 1-2 shift?

 

my 95 automagic with a 97 tranny can spin through 1st and chirp into second no problem.....and that with me winter tires on

Mine doesn't even do that...but then again I have good tires. But yeah...Maxima's typically, will just spin tires for a while (if they aren't any good), until 2nd or so.

 

Mine does. but that because its about 10psi of boost and a quick auto shift lol.
