ok to drive with Check engine light on

I did the diagnostic check and found out that it was the coolant temp sensor. Is it ok to keep drivin with this because i wont have time to do anything till next week and i have a lot of running around to do this weekend.

Re: ok to drive with Check engine light on

The check engine light starts blinking on severe problems, which yours is not. If I were you, I'd go about my business while being wary of my cars temp and make sure the radiator fans still work and activate every so often. Also, don't drive too hard and don't put yourself in stop and go traffic. Then take care of the car next week.

I drove with my engine check light for about 4 weeks with no trouble, but then again I knew what caused the engine check light to come on. Check maximadriver.com for directions on how to check the trouble code. Also will show you how to reset the ECU.

DO NOT DRIVE.

Have you car towed to the dealer to have the problem fixed ASAP.

j/k...you can drive.
