What is a good catalytic converter to buy?

I am looking for something decent.

Don't tell me to get straight through.

I bought a budget cat what a mistake. Lasted 3 years and **** to bed (everything inside rattles) Now I need a bolt on cat to replace it.

Thanks guys!

Stock? If not then maybe try a high-flow cat from Warpspeed.

Do not buy the warpspeed cat. I bought one of their EPA approved cats for $99. Although the car passed emissions inspection, the substrate broke apart one year later and currently it is rattling like crazy, just like your budget cat.

If I had to do it again, I would have bought an OEM cat. That's what I intend to do in the near future. I see them for like $100 new on ebay.

Had one from Warpspeed...1 year later mine also started to rattle...Contacted Dallas at Warpspeed & he replaced it! I'd get a Fastcat from Cattman.

Wow I may have to jump on this... It comes out to a little over 150 shipped from one guy.

Magnaflow's are what Warpspeed has, they're supposed to be good, since my 2nd one is still ok after 2yrs. Guess I just got one from a bad batch...

I bought my cat from warpspeed's ebay store, they had it at $99. It came in a magnaflow box and was an easy bolt on install. I guess mine was from the same crappy batch as yours

cattman fast cat, imho. reasonable price for a quality part, and reportedly a (very slight) increase in hp. plus Brian only sells quality products.

As many others complained, my Warpspeed cat broke after less than a year of use. I am currently running an OEM cat and have no probs.

Another for Cattman cat. Proven before/after dyno printout if you want. Plus, he includes the necessary shims.
