Check Engine, TCS and Slip Lights On...
I have a 99 SE-L that before 30,000 miles, the check engine, TCS and Slip light came one. Took it to Herb Gordon and they said a sensor went bad. At 36,000 the same lights came back on. Herb Gordon said the engine harness needed to be replaced, then came back and said Nissan service suggested they check the engine coils first. They replaced six engine coils, everything covered under warranty thankfully. So today I'm at 38 and some change, and the lights came back on. Has this happened to anyone else, if so what was done to correct it?
Hubby wants to drive it on someones lot so he can get the 2002 Maxima and let give me his "Hand me Down" 01 20th AE!!!!!
Thanks

have you checked the error codes from the ecu yourself? If not try it and see what error codes the ECU shows, and then take it to the mechanic. You can search on the forum on how to check the codes, and i believe there is a sticky on how to perform the test. good luck
Just Printed them out
