so which lip kit is it?
this is the only one made for us market i30s (by paradox systems). anything else would be for the jdm cefiro which would be a bit of an interesting development, although there aren't many cefiro lip kits as most are full bumper replacments and won't work either.

i wouldn't call bs too quick, after looking at an i30 and a 95-96 bumper they are very similarly shaped. i still think that "fits" is very subjective and what may be good enough for 1 person might be unacceptable for another.
this has only ever been done the other way (maxima lip onto i30) but my prediction is there will be enough overlap to mount it but a lot of underhang.
the solution is fairly simple though since it's a glass kit and too large vs. too small. just section out inches here and there. 1 cut on the front and 1/side and i bet you can fit it up.
then you only have to worry about having a fg lip, since it's almost guaranteed to crack.
the sides are cleaner than anything on the market though, imo of course, and if you could mod the rears to fit (shouldn't be hard cause it's glass) you'd have a winner there too. if a 97-99 matched that up with the most overlooked front lip of all time (ionic classic) you'd have a very clean setup without the tuner look.

somebody should maybe make a stickie on this whole process, ive been considering a lip kit for some time and wondered about sizing and what makes work with our cars. and also, how much time to paint and mount said kits???

i'm waiting to see this...i have an i30...researched numerous times on body kits...never the other way around..but again..everything fits...it just needs a little duct tape, saw, and nail polish to paint over..

Are those before you took it up to the body shop or after? Because I talked to them a week or so ago and told me they modified a i30 lip to fit a 96 max front and I know you took it to them...
