y pipe

My y pipe has a hole in it, due to NYC potholes, thanx Bloomberg. Anyway I smell so much gas in my car I can almost get high lol. Anyway just wondering if anyone has dynoed for the gains for any one of those Ebay headers & y pipe combo? I was just going to go back to a budget or warpspeed y pipe that I have always had before, but I figure if I can get headers for less than the y pipe then I should consider one of the ebay sets. I have a 3.5 swap on my 4th gen using my stock 97 headers. The one thing I do notice is that the diamter is only 2.25 and I wanted to keep my 2.5 straight back setup from y pipe to catback? Please chime in ur thoughts and opinions. thanx in advance fellas

Did you search around at all?

That's the typical SSAC crap, there are a bunch of dynos with them on in the Dyno subforum, and hundreds of threads concerning them.

Stock headers?

You won't gain any massive amounts of power with headers over the stock manifolds, so unless you're installing them yourself or going for absolutely every bit of power you possibly can out of the motor, they're not worth the install price.

Warpspeep SS would be fine I believe. On NYCNissans someone is selling some sort of SS Y-Pipe, never installed, for $100.

About how much horsepower does a y-pipe add? Cause I heard it adds the most of all aftermarket exhaust pipes. And is it worth it?
