Ebay trunk spoiler set back.

Had what I think is a set back. Brought what was listing and pictured as a 95-99 Maxima rear spoiler but when the box was opened I got what looks like this.

My car is about to hit the body shop and money is tight so should I put that thing on....Its a bit shorter the the OEM, and has only 2 mounting points unlike the OEM which has 4.

Well do you want to put it on? Can you afford to put it on, and have the stock holes filled back up?

Do you like how it looks?

Basically, you already have it, and you wanted a spoiler. It's all up to you now, who cares what we think? You're the one that's going to have to look at it every day.

Well I was just looking for the great opinions of ORG members, after all is set and done my car will be very much influence by your opinions and mine of courses.

is it roughly the same size? Did you check your receipt/listing? Did you contact the seller? Anything?

I'd compare it to a 95-99 spoiler and see if its the same size. If so, put it on I say. Otherwise get your money back and get another one...

It fits but its not as long as the OEM and wont over lap the trunk as much. I'll take pictures in the morning and post them. I'll like to hear what you guys all think.

It's not the same as an OEM .... for sure, but I don't think it looks that bad really. You'll have a "one of" if you use it. Or ... try and return it (if they will let you) and get an OEM spoiler. You should have the biggest influence in how your car looks ... not us. I know you look for 'approval' from the .ORG .... but some times you have to make up your own mind. Afterall ... it is your car, not ours.

if you paid with paypal, you can definately return it. Just get the listing again quickly before it expires, screen shot it, and the take pictures of what you had bought. Item received was not as described. Paypal will get your money back. as far as having a spoiler or not...i do'nt have spoiler. Imo...it kinda looks like a shopping cart after yo uadd it to my i30
