Lop-Sided Suspension

So I took notice the other day when I had my car in the bays at work that the suspension is slightly uneven in the front. Like maybe a quarter to less than half an inch shorter on the passenger's side. I confirmed this by measuring. I also noticed it because putting the car on a lift is slightly different from one side to the other in terms of the amount of clearance I had.

Is this normal? I was told some suspensions are designed like this to counteract the weight of the driver, is there any truth to this? Is it simply because there's more weight on that side (engine)? I feel like a total nooblet even asking this but I'm trying to get my car ready for a few upgrades in the spring, and if I need to replace some things as maintenance I'd rather do it first.

I would imagine it's that way to, as you said, equal the car out with the driver in it.

Though the FSM doesn't say anything about it...

Probably uneven spring sag or one weak shock. FSM's read like both L/R are equal heights. All tires have air right?

Yes, all are properly inflated. I neglected to mention for those who aren't familiar with my car that I am lowered on Illuminas and Progress springs. That being said, a friend reminded me tonight that the springs could have been seated improperly. I may get them both reinstalled at work.

So I took some more exact measurements today and it's only really off by less than a 1/4". Also, the measurements I took resulted in almost exactly 6" from the top of the wheel to the fender at all 4 corners. I think it must just be one tire with slightly uneven wear compared to the others.

Long story short, sounds like there isn't any real problem here.

I'm beginning to wonder if it wasn't just me measuring on an uneven surface originally
